Facility Upgrades Capital Campaign
Our Capital Campaign began in 2024 for the purpose of raising funds for much needs improvements without affecting the annual operating budget in order to keep membership and programming fees to a minimum. We are actively seeking grants from foundations and local businesses but we are also offering the opportunity for community members to contribute to the campaign. HVAC Project Phase 1 - Fully Funded
We have two HVAC units to heat and cool the main areas of the facility. These units are original to the building and sit on the roof and are end of life. We have contracted with local HVAC contractors to help us re-design the system for comfort, efficiency, redundancy. The two units on the roof will be replaced by four units the ground directly outside the building. Each phase will cost $180,000 and we are thankful to announce that phase one is fully funded by the organizations listed below in varying amounts. Weight Room Modernization
The weight room has become outdated and is a source of concern for members. We are seeking a sponsor or sponsors to fund the modernization of the weight room. Sponsors will have an opportunity to work with Kids America on the design of the room in return for permanent recognition. The modernization budget is $120,000.
Activity Room Redesign
The child care organization who currently rents this room will be leaving at the end of October. We are seeking ideas to redesign this room for the benefit of members. We are also seeking sponsor(s) for this room, similar to the weight room. The renovation budget is expected to be $120,000.
Overdue Maintenance and Repairs Fund
We recognize that over the years, there have been maintenance and repair projects that have been neglected. We are seeking small donations towards this fund so that we can prioritize.
